Foundation House extension: this was a straight forward L-shape foundation whit no bridge sewer. Having a wet soil we have used a pump to take out the water before pouring the concrete.
Chimney: because it was taking up valuable space, the client agreed to get rid of the chimney breast from the ground floor up to the roof.
Walls: after a couple of bricks samples presented to the client they have decided used reclaimed yellow stock bricks to try to match the existing house design.
For internal walls, we followed the architectural specifications and we used aerated blocks 3.7N with a cavity filled with 100mm earthwool insulation slabs.
Roof: for this house extension in Bromley we had to install 3 Velux Windows on a pitched roof.
The client decided to match the existing tile house so he chooses grey concrete tiles similar to the Patio Tiles.
For the kitchen extension roof, we have installed 3 Velux Windows (wood) as per the architectural plan.
UFH: we have installed a Wunda Wet Underfloor Heating system with a Wi-Fi thermostat.
Floor kitchen extension: client chooses a modern floor design choosing 1mx1m tiles from Topps Tiles. You can have always when you buy from Topps Tiles 15% discount using our loyalty card.
Kitchen: as you can see in the pictures below the client tried to close match the colour of the floor tiles with the kitchen units and worktop. The kitchen was ordered from Howdens and was installed by our carpenter.
Toilet / Bathroom: we have completed a full bathroom refurbishment at the 1st floor and a toilet refurbishment at ground floor.
